 What is Noun? (संज्ञा क्या है?) 

Nouns are sometimes known as ‘Naming Words’ and that’s exactly what they are, names for things - like - objects, places, emotions, animals, people etc.

(संज्ञा को कभी कभी ‘Naming Words’ के नाम से भी जाना जाता है जैसे - वस्तुओं, स्थानों , भावनाओं, जानवरों, लोगों आदि के नाम संज्ञा है।)

जैसे - किताब - Book, लड़का - Boy, भेड़ - Sheep, घर - House etc...
