Use of Already, Still and Yet

 Already

पहले कुछ हुआ था

E.g. He has already done the homework, he is watching TV.

वह पहले ही होमवर्क कर चुका है, वह टीवी देख रहा है।

I have already seen that movie, I don’t want to see it again.

मैंने वह फिल्म पहले ही देख ली है, मैं उसे दोबारा नहीं देखना चाहता।

Still

कुछ ऐसा है जो चल रहा है / समाप्त हो गया है जब यह अपेक्षित था।

E.g. Are you still working in the same company?

क्या आप अभी भी उसी कंपनी में काम कर रहे हैं?

The baby is still crying.

बच्चा अभी भी रो रहा है।

Yet

जो अपेक्षित था वह कुछ हुआ या हुआ नहीं।

E.g She won’t have sent the letter yet.

उसने अभी तक पत्र नहीं भेजा है।

He hasn’t done his homework yet.

उसने अभी तक अपना होमवर्क नहीं किया है।
